This hands-on, demo-rich workshop answers that question by putting AI directly into your hands. Grounded in human factors and human and organizational performance (HOP) principles, this highly interactive session goes beyond theory to real application. Participants will explore how AI can support error reduction, improve decision-making, and enhance operational performance—without losing sight of the human element at the center of work. It addresses a common misconception: AI is not here to replace people or to solve human factors challenges on its own. Systems, context, and conditions influence human error, and AI is most effective when it supports better thinking, not replaces it.

Participants are required to bring their laptops and real-world challenges. Through live demonstrations and structured guided practice, they will learn how to use advanced prompting techniques and apply AI tools like Claude to analyze incidents, enhance communication, identify system weaknesses, and generate practical solutions in minutes.
