The SafeStart Forum is the place for human factors practitioners from the SafeStart community—leaders, safety staff, trainers, and steering committees—to exchange ideas and discuss human factors in safety with like-minded professionals in person this spring. This is extended to anyone regardless of where they are in their journey with SafeStart's capabilities, including those who are just starting to engage with SafeLead and those who implemented SafeStart a while ago and could benefit from re-engaging.
SafeStart defines human factors as the people elements of individual and system conditions that influence performance and reliability. Human factors practitioners are the people who are actively engaged in the discipline of human factors management to help others perform safely 24/7 using various practical applications. This includes reducing human error but also extends well beyond that scope. Learn more in this white paper.
